A year at our school
π Year 6 Market Day β A Fantastic Day of Fun and Fundraising!
Our Year 6 students hosted a successful Market Day to raise funds for their end-of-year celebrations. The event was filled with excitement, featuring face painting, fun games, and food decorating stations. It was wonderful to see so many students and families supporting our senior students as they celebrated their final year of primary school.
π©βπ³ Cooking Club β Creativity in the Kitchen!
Our Cooking Club students showcased their culinary talents as they mixed, measured, and made a variety of delicious creations. From decorating treats to experimenting with new recipes, the group demonstrated teamwork, creativity, and a real passion for cooking. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and pride as students shared their tasty results with friends and teachers.
π₯ Be Bush Fire Aware and Prepared!
Students enjoyed a visit from the Rural Fire Service, learning important tips about staying safe during bush fire season. The firefighters shared how to prepare homes and families, what to do if a fire is nearby, and how emergency services help protect our community. It was an engaging and informative session that reminded everyone to be bush fire aware and prepared!
π Book Week Parade β Reading Comes to Life!
Our annual Book Week Parade filled the school with colour, creativity, and excitement as students dressed up as their favourite book characters. From classic stories to modern tales, the costumes were imaginative and full of personality. The day was a wonderful celebration of reading and a reminder that books can take us anywhere!
πββοΈ School and Zone Athletics Carnivals β Effort, Team Spirit and Pride!
Our School Athletics Carnival was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. Students gave their best effort in every event, cheering one another on and showing great school spirit throughout the day.
Following this, our top athletes represented Bringelly Public School at the Zone Athletics Carnival, competing with enthusiasm and pride. Their effort, encouragement of others, and positive attitude were outstanding. We are incredibly proud of all students who participated and demonstrated the Bringelly values of effort, respect and friendship both on and off the track.
πͺ Burns Obstacle Course β Building Fitness and Endurance!
During Term 3 sport, students took part in the Burns Obstacle Course, a fun and challenging program designed to build fitness, strength, and endurance. Students climbed, jumped, balanced, and raced their way through a series of obstacles, showing determination and teamwork every step of the way. The program was a fantastic way to stay active, develop resilience, and have plenty of fun outdoors!
π 100 Days of Learning β A Milestone Worth Celebrating!
Our students marked an exciting milestone β 100 Days of Learning! The day was filled with fun activities celebrating how much progress has been made since the start of the school year. Students dressed up, counted, created, and reflected on all the things theyβve learned in their first 100 days. It was a joyful reminder of how far theyβve come and how much there is still to discover!
π€πβ€οΈ NAIDOC Day 2025 β The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy
Our school proudly celebrated NAIDOC Day, honouring the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Students took part in a range of engaging activities that deepened their understanding of First Nations culture β including storytelling, art, music, and dance. It was a meaningful day of learning, respect, and connection as we celebrated this yearβs theme, βThe Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy.β
β€οΈ Jump Rope for Heart β Skipping for Fun and Fitness!
Students leapt into action for our Jump Rope for Heart event, showing fantastic enthusiasm, energy, and teamwork. Throughout the program, students practised their skipping skills, improved their fitness, and learned about keeping their hearts healthy β all while raising awareness and funds for the Heart Foundation. It was wonderful to see everyone having fun, staying active, and supporting such an important cause.
πββοΈ School and Zone Cross Country β Determination and Team Spirit on Display!
Students showed outstanding perseverance and sportsmanship at our School Cross Country Carnival, cheering each other on as they tackled the course with energy and determination. It was wonderful to see every student giving their best effort and supporting their peers throughout the day.
Our top runners then represented Bringelly Public School at the Zone Cross Country Carnival, competing with pride and enthusiasm against schools from across the district. Their effort, resilience, and encouragement of others truly reflected the Bringelly values of great effort, respect, and friendship.
