Families play a vital role in our school, and we cherish the strong relationships we build together. Whether it’s a chat at the gate, a shared milestone, or working together to support student learning, our partnerships are at the heart of what makes Bringelly such a special place.

Our school leaders
Our school leaders, including our principal, guide teachers and students. They help create a school culture where every child is supported to grow and thrive.
Craig Narres, Assistant Principal Curriculum and Instruction.
Mr Narres is an experienced educator with more than 20 years in teaching and leadership across a range of school settings. He is deeply passionate about creating engaging, supportive, and high-quality learning environments where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
As Assistant Principal Curriculum & Instruction and Assistant Principal Mainstream at Bringelly Public School, Mr Narres works closely with teachers, students, and families to ensure learning is purposeful, inclusive, and responsive to individual needs. He plays a key role in curriculum development, assessment, and professional learning, supporting teachers to deliver explicit, effective, and meaningful instruction.
Mr Narres has a strong interest in neuroeducation — how the brain learns — and uses this knowledge to guide evidence-based teaching practices that maximise student engagement and learning growth. Known for his collaborative approach and enthusiasm for innovation, he values strong relationships and shared leadership.
Mr Narres is also committed to building strong school–community partnerships and believes that positive relationships between home and school are essential for student success. He values open communication and works collaboratively with families and staff to support student wellbeing, engagement, and achievement.
Dean Burke, Assistant Principal
With over 18 years of teaching experience, Mr Burke is deeply passionate about meeting the learning needs of every student, ensuring each child experiences meaningful growth and success. He strives to inspire students to believe in themselves, take ownership of their learning, and develop the confidence to reach their personal best.
Throughout his career, Mr Burke has supervised teachers across all stages and is formally trained as an instructional leader, leading initiatives that strengthen teaching practice and build staff capacity. He is committed to collaborative improvement, professional learning, and evidence-based practice that results in sustained growth for both students and teachers.
Mr Burke believes education extends beyond academics. He takes a whole-child approach, recognising the importance of social, emotional, and wellbeing development alongside learning. Building positive relationships, fostering a safe and supportive environment, and nurturing resilience and curiosity are central to his work.
At the heart of everything Mr Burke does is a genuine desire to make a lasting difference in children’s lives—supporting them not only to learn, but to grow, thrive, and believe in who they can become.
