Bringelly Public School is in semi-rural South West Sydney and proud of its over 139 year history, as the school was built in 1878. Our school motto is "Together We Grow." The beautiful setting of five hectares of school grounds has a good sports field, multi-purpose coart and playground. Part of the school grounds, which is fenced off from the main playing area, is protected under the Federal Heritage and Environmental Act. The area includes a school dam, school garden, wetland and Cumberland Plains woodland. At Bringelly Public School, we strive to provide a challenging and caring learning environment where individuals realise their full potential through co-operation between family and school. We recognise that student learning occurs best when students are highly engaged, strive to be responsible for their own learning; and are supported at appropriate levels by teachers, peers, parents and the community at large.
We believe that great relationships make a school an excellent environment for learning. We take pride in close relationships that exist between parents and staff, a caring school where every child counts as an individual and where every child is known by every teacher. The views of parents, students and staff from the school evaluation underpins our vision for Bringelly Public School. A school: Which caters for individual needs, reinforces positive attitudes and acknowledges children who excel in their own abilities;
which regards highly the gaining of an education, good manners and respect for school, teachers and each other; and children enjoy attending, interact positively with others, feel part of the school community and be proud of their school.
